If you’re looking for an alternative to the craziness of Stoneridge Mall to have your photos taken with Santa, check out Blackhawk Plaza. For residents in Dublin Ranch it’s a more convenient, more upscale alternative shopping experience.

Santa will be seated in his chair in front of the duck pond from 11am – 7pm each day, from now until Christmas Eve, December 24th, when he’ll be there from 11-6pm (he has to leave early to get back to the North Pole, you know!).

During this Holiday Season, Santa will be hosting several events at Blackhawk Plaza. At the new bookstore, appropriately called “read,” Santa will be reading his holiday favorites every Monday morning at 10:15am. This coming Saturday, December 5th, Santa and Radio Disney will be hosting an event at Laurus, the new Southern European Bistro dining experience that just opened in Blackhawk Plaza. Reservations are requested because seating is limited, and tickets are $25 for adults (which includes mimosa!) and $10 for children 12 and under. Probably the most fun event with Santa this season will be tonight, December 2nd, and again on December 9th, as well as on December 16th from 5-7pm. It’s called Santa Paws, and it’s a time to have your photo taken with Santa and your dog to benefit Guide Dogs for the Blind! Guide Dogs for the blind partners blind and visually impaired people with trained Guide Dogs free-of-charge.
